Over the course of the semester I have learned many things.
I love how this class was focused mainly on conflict but also all the many
different ways that we can address conflict. Conflict no longer is something
that is negative but can be looked at in a positive way also. It can teach us a
lot about ourselves and about others. There are many ways to go about handling
a conflict and some ways I found to be more interesting than others. I feel the
STLC method to be the most beneficial because it seems to be the most logical
and smart way of dealing with a conflict. That method allows for us to take in
what is happening, make our own analysis and then help the situation. Most of
all what I learned from this course is that dealing with conflict is something
that I want to do in means of my career. I feel that I am talented in helping
conflicts get resolved and I would like to do that with my life, possibly
resolve conflict in the business world or conflict in someone’s personal life.
I really liked your post for many different reasons. I definitely agree with the fact that the S-TLC method of conflict management is the best way of going about conflicts. It was something that I also wrote about and something that really stuck out in my mind as important. The other thing that I liked to see from your post is the fact tat you talked about distilling the information that we have learned from this class on other people and helping them understand conflicts better and in a new light. Overall, great post and great job this semester I really enjoyed all your posts.
